Potsdamer Platz: Het creëren van een nieuw centrum voor Verenigd Berlijn
In this thesis, I will discuss the transformation of the Potsdamer Platz in
the last century. During this time, the Platz went from a busy city centre
to no man’s land, to, again, a renewed city centre.
After the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, the Senate was divided about the way
to organise the urban development. In the process of decision-making about the urban planning, there is a continuous contradiction between referring to and continuing the successful 1920’s, the national past, and the globalisation of Berlin.

The Entrance
In this report I will focus on the entrance of a building. The entrance of a building gives a visitor the first impression about the building and the organization in it.
In this report I will research what an entrance exactly is and which elements can be used to give the visitor a positive first impression an let them feel welcome.

Internship Kenia
Repairing Water Pumps
In 2010 I followed the minor 'International Entrepreneurship and Development'.
In this internship
the main focus was to do research on work of the Divisional Wells
Committee in the Kibwezi Area. This committee controls the repairing process of the water pumps in the area. By modelling the current repairing
process, we were able to add structure and make suggestions for improvement. This is important due to the fact that many local people rely on water supplied by water pumps.
